This project includes the design and construction of a new facility for the School of Pharmacy. The new Pharmacy Building will be located directly on the site of the razed Quadrangle Residence Hall (directly across the street from the existing School of Pharmacy building).  The original  (north tower) portion of the Pharmacy building will be razed and the existing 1996 south addition (south tower) will include maintenance required upgrades as a part of this project. The new building will contain laboratory, classroom and communal spaces. Webcams are available on the College of Pharmacy website.

Milestones:

Exterior Cladding Update:

  • Granite on north wing started and 50% complete
  • Exterior framing is 100% complete
  • Air/Vapor barrier will be nearly complete
  • North wing windows will be complete
  • Roofing the north wing is complete and tower will be 70% complete

 

Site Update:

  • The DI water completed its route from the new building to the tunnel north of the existing pharmacy building.
  • All backfill has been completed.

 

Interior Update:

  • Interior framing has progressed in the north wing. 
  • 3rd Floor is framed out and bathrooms being roughed in.
  • 2nd floor is framing the TBL room including working towards the raised flooring
  • 1st floor walls are 50% complete

Tower

  • Framed through 4th floor
  • Door frames through 3rd Floor
  • MEP systems are roughed in through 4th and 60% complete on 5th floor by end of September
  • UIP Space
  • AHU delivered and installed
  • Mezzanine steel and grating install 80% complete through end of September
  • Parts washer & WFI tank delivered
