This project will accommodate significant growth to the College of Engineering in recent years and continued future growth. The addition will be connected on the south side of the Seamans Center to include fluids teaching and research labs, engineering design studio, expanded student study/collaboration space, relocated student academic support and tutoring suite, relocated and expanded admissions suite, CCAD and IIHR departmental and faculty offices, two general assignment classrooms, multiple meeting rooms and dry laboratories and associated office and graduate student support space.

  • Mechanical/Electrical rough-in’s nearing completion
  • Wall finish beginning on 5th floor.
  • HVAC unit AHU-12 ductwork complete this week. 
  • Controls wiring for AHU-12 currently being installed in conjunction with AHU-12 duct work completion.
  • Trades are sequencing converging tasks for floors first through 5th for schedule adherence.
  • Terrazzo flooring installation underway and continuing on each floor and sequencing with trades.
  • Curtain wall system is installed 99%.
  • High performance concrete panel girts and rails are installed on west side of Annex and 30% installed on East side.
  • Testing of chilled water and fire protection piping is complete.
